Adelaide Shorts Film Festival

The Shorts Film Festival in Adelaide ran November 26–30, presenting 74 films selected from 210 entries. The festival was founded and run by David Lightfoot, producer of the feature films Wolf Creek and Rogue, with an emphasis on strong storytelling over technical polish. The event moved to a new main venue, Queen's Theatre, from its previous home at the Garage Bar on Waymouth Street.

Tickets were $15 for adults, $12 concession, and $10 for Fringe Benefits and YHA card holders. A selection of films also screened outdoors at the Prairie Hotel in the Flinders Ranges. The festival maintained a programming partnership with the Rushes Soho Shorts Festival in London.
