Arkansas City, Kansas hosted free outdoor movies at Creekside Park on Tuesday nights throughout August 2008. The series was organized by the Greater Arkansas City Area Chamber of Commerce, with titles including The Spiderwick Chronicles, Kung Fu Panda, and Speed Racer. Movies started at dusk; admission was free. Attendees were encouraged to bring chairs, blankets, and cash for concessions.
