Outdoor Movies on an Inflatable Screen in Brisbane, Australia

For three evenings in November 2008, Helgäs European Film Festival brought an inflatable cinema to Brisbane's City Botanic Gardens at Soundshell Hill. The programme: Italian Days and Clouds (dir. Silvio Soldini; a marriage straining under unemployment), German The Edge of Heaven (characters navigating life and death between two countries), and French farce Welcome to the Sticks. Free of charge; backrests available to hire.
