Jakarta, Indonesia: Outdoor Movies in an Open Air Cinema at the Jakarta International Film Festival

JiFFest -- the Jakarta International Film Festival -- includes an Open Air Cinema as part of its annual programme, screening 10–12 award-winning international films under the stars. Previous programmes featured titles such as Atonement, No Country for Old Men, Persepolis, and La Vie en Rose, most of which went on to commercial release in Indonesian cinemas.

The festival also hosts the Indonesian Feature Film Competition, judged by an international jury -- the country's only such competition -- with prizes of US$5,000 each for Best Indonesian Feature and Best Indonesian Director.
