The International Film & Animation Festival 2008 took place in Pai, Thailand, from November 28 to December 7. Pai is a small town in the mountains of northern Thailand, set among forested hills alongside the Pai River -- an atmospheric backdrop for outdoor cinema under the cool-season mist. The inaugural festival was organized with open-air screenings under the stars in one of northern Thailand's most scenic valleys.
