Festival programming is the top of the range: a 25' Elite seats 2,000, a 30' seats 3,000 and a 40' seats 6,000, or 18,000 standing. All three are built from 18 oz, 400 denier internal weave PVC vinyl weft that is NFPA 701 fire compliant, with tethers rated to 5,000 lbs and 36-inch steel stakes.

Open Air Cinema has been manufacturing inflatable cinema screens since 2001 — 25 years. Fabrics are computer-cut and sewn by hand in the United States, and screens ship from our own building in Orem, Utah. Phone and FaceTime support during setup comes with every system, on-site training is available for Event Pro and Elite, and replacement surfaces, blowers and parts stay in stock. Every screen kit ships with repair material.

Every screen kit, complete CineBox system and add-on carries a list price on this site and on the catalog page, so a quote can be checked against a printed number before it goes to a purchasing office. Specifics for Film Festivals & Events

• Drive-ins

  Drive-in capacity, from the Elite specifications: ~100 cars for the 25' screen, ~150 cars for the 30' and ~300 cars for the 40'. An FM transmitter for in-car audio is a $1,500 add-on.

• Projection and lenses

  Elite systems carry 7,000–15,000+ lumen laser LED projectors, seamless HDMI 2.1 switching and a three-screen rack-mounted preview panel. Interchangeable short and long throw lenses are quoted separately; typical placement is 60 ft from screen center.

• Crew and rigging

  Elite screens set up with a crew of four, with 8 lb sledgehammer, 36 in x 1 in rust-proof steel stakes and eight tethers rated to 5,000 lbs.
